Definition of a Rat Race

According to Wikipedia, a rat race is an endless, self-defeating, or pointless pursuit. It invokes the image of the futile efforts of a lab rat trying to escape while running around a maze or in a wheel. Not a pleasant thing isn’t it. But surprisingly, it is still very much quite commonplace in this time and age.

Rat Race still Very Common

Despite the advancement in technology and the online world, where all these are supposed to make us feel more convenient and have more free time, there are still millions of people who are still slaves to their wages and job. These can be seen through the hordes of cars in the major cities causing massive traffic jams in the morning and evening. Millions of people every day rush to work mindlessly without a sense of purpose.

Stucked in a Rat Race Myself

I, myself was and still is very much a part of this madness. Nevertheless, I have realized the predicament that I am in. All these years of dragging my feet to work every morning and evening rush hour have taken a toll on my physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing. I became grumpy, demotivated, pessimistic, and trenched in the feeling of hopelessness.

I am glad that I have realized the negative thing that has happened to me. It is time for me to change for the better and take charge of my life!

Something Needs to be Done

I know that I need to do something. Resigning my job immediately is not a good option for me for the time being as I still need to pay my bills. I will have to do something outside my working hours to earn some extra income. More than just simply getting an extra income, I need to start and develop something that I can do as a career for the long term.

I have a few projects that I am doing now that hopefully can bring my dreams of escaping from the rat race an eventual reality.

My Hope for this Website

This website is created to share my dreams and hopes with other fellow people who are looking to get out of this rat race that we are in.

My dream of escaping from the rat race is closer by the day to get into reality, with all the side projects that I am doing online and offline. On this site, I would like to share tips and advice on what are the things that we can do, and especially legitimate online business that we can leverage to take earn extra income, make money online, and eventually escape from the rat race.
