Most people need to have a job to support themselves and their families. The majority of the jobs usually is just good enough to pay the bills and hardly any left for savings. To get extra income, many sorts to find a second job to supplement their existing primary income.
The most common second jobs are waiters/waitresses, cashier, barista, personal trainer, yoga instructor, and many other odd hour jobs.
However, to take a second job to supplement your primary income can be very taxing to your body, especially if you do something just simply for the money and not out of true passion.
So think again, do you really need a job or what you really need is a second income? Big difference right?

As you can see, having a second job to supplement your primary income may not be the best idea to generate extra cash for yourself.
Do you know that J.O.B is also called “Just Over Broke”? That doesn’t sound too appealing right?
What you really need is actually a second income stream that you can depend on for some extra money and also as a temporary buffer should you face problems with your job.
What Makes a Great Second Income Stream
When you are looking for a potential second income stream, you should consider these factors below:
Flexibility – A flexible income stream where you can set your own time would be the most desirable. A second job elsewhere from home would be super taxing to your body and the chances of burnout are very high.
Scalability – Look for a second stream that has the potential to grow big and generate a considerable income stream.
Enjoyable – It is much easier to work on something you enjoy or passionate about.
Inexpensive – Start small and gradually work your way up generating good income growth. It is not advisable to risk early without knowing your project would work or not.
