How to find keywords for SEO

Before I go into how do I find great keywords for SEO, I would like to share what are the factors that I look for a keyword.

The factors that I look for in a keyword:

1. Monthly Average Search – Great indicator for the potential number of traffic you can expect in a month for a particular keyword
2. Keyword Quality Indicator (KQI) – Indication of the quality of a keyword-based on several key metrics.
3. Quoted Search Results (QSR) – Exact number of competing websites in the search engine for a particular keyword. Knowing your QSR will provide you with a massive advantage over your competitors.
4. SEO Power Score – A score on traffic versus competition. The higher the score the better.

I can start to do my search at Jaaxy by typing winter fashionable boots for women.

1. I first type in winter fashionable boots for women

2. I clicked on “Find Keywords”

3. Results obtained in less than 30 seconds

As you can see from the image above, in almost an instant I got myself 13 great keywords specifically on fashionable winter boots for women.

Just for your information, these long keywords are also known as the “long tail” keywords. Some people call it the “low hanging fruit” keywords and I personally prefer the term as well.

So what can I do with those great keywords?

There are a number of ways you can use to capitalize the potential use of the keywords.

The most obvious uses of the keywords are:

• Use the keywords as the TITLE of your blog post
• Use the keywords inside or within your article
• Use the keywords as the title of your image
• Use the keywords in your image’s caption
• Etc.
